It's way worse than Nami's. He's never been accepted at all since he was a baby for all that time and was attacked by both animals and humans he literally had nowhere to go. He never had friends and the one person that accepted him whom he considered his father died because of him and his mistake. Up until now he's never had anyone. Nami's was really sad i agree but Chopper's was way worse.

dude its just your perspective. Nami spent 8 years working for the man who killed her poor kind adoptive mother just to save the village people she grew up with while thinking they hated her. I don't know about you but I would relate to Nami's story more on motherly love. The amount of rage and mental pain I would have to endure each day to stop myself from trying to killing her murderer with the feeling of noone being on your side.
Btw, you're mistaken about Chopper. He was 15 when he met Straw Hats, spent 6 years under Kureha,1 year with Hiriluk, so 8 years alone assuming he was alone ever since he was born.

It is down to perspective but the guilt of being the reason your father figure (only being not person being that accepts you) dies sooner than he should've is jus as bad imo that's enough guilt to crush a soul.

It's hard to decide who has the sadder backstop between Nami or Chopper. Nami's adopted mother sacrificed her life to save Nami and her sister. Then Nami takes on a debt and makes everyone think she is with the Arlong pirates to hate her. Chopper wanted to heal his father figure, and gave him a poisonous mushroom soup. Then the guy kills himself, basically pulling a Baji, spare Chopper from bearing the guilt of killing him.

this is the episode that made me realize Masako Nozawa plays Dr. Kureha. Her grunts came straight out of Dragon Ball.. typical sounds you can hear when she plays Goku hahah. so awesome. really fits the role as Kureha!
